Rutte agrees that some NATO countries failed the test from the US
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte acknowledged that some countries of the North Atlantic Alliance have indeed failed the test from the US.
He expressed this position in an interview with CNN following a meeting with US President Donald Trump.
"Some of them - yes. But most European countries have done what they promised earlier in similar cases, and we discussed this today," Rutte stated, responding to a question about whether he agreed with the US President's assessment.
As White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated earlier, the American leader believes that the war between the US and Israel with Iran became a test for NATO, which failed this test.
