Armenia discloses volumes of imports through and from Azerbaijan

The Customs Service of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the Ministry of Economy have published data on the quantity of goods imported into Armenia from Russia and Kazakhstan through the territory of Azerbaijan from November 2025 to April 15, 2026.

Additionally, figures for imports from Azerbaijan to Armenia through the territory of Georgia have been released.

In response to a request from “Armenpress,” the State Revenue Committee and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia reported that 26,295 tons of goods from the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, as well as 9,337 tons of fuel from Azerbaijan, were imported into Armenia through Azerbaijani territory, emphasizing that the results of regional cooperation and peace are already tangible, creating new opportunities for economic development. According to the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia, goods were transported through Azerbaijani territory by rail for the first time on November 6, 2025. “From Russia and Kazakhstan, 24,865 tons of wheat, 1,362 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat were imported. From Azerbaijan to Armenia by rail through the territory of Georgia, from December 2025 to April 15, 2026, 9,337 tons of fuel of Azerbaijani origin were imported and registered, with a total customs value of 7.2 million USD. Of this, 5,398 tons were diesel fuel with a customs value of 4.3 million USD, and 3,939 tons were gasoline with a customs value of 2.9 million USD,” the agencies reported.
