According to the information, the visit will take place after the European Commission head's trip to Armenia and will be her first visit to Azerbaijan since July 2022.
It is expected that during the upcoming visit, the current state and prospects of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan, cooperation in the energy sector, as well as regional processes will be discussed.
EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will accompany European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during the regional visit, which is taking place against the backdrop of Brussels' desire to strengthen transport, energy, and digital connections in the South Caucasus.
