Pezeshkian notes role of people and fallen leader in truce reached with U.S.

The ceasefire regime with Washington, based on principles put forward by Tehran, was made possible thanks to the Iranian people and the fallen Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This was stated by the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.

“The ceasefire, based on the acceptance of common principles proposed by Iran, is the result of the blood shed by our fallen leader, the great Khamenei, as well as the participation of the entire people,” he wrote on his page on the social network X.

The President also called on Iranians to unite in all spheres of activity, including on the diplomatic front.
