Actor Tim Curry, star of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," dies

British actor Tim Curry, who rose to fame for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has died at the age of 80.

According to TMZ, the actor died late in the evening on August 25 in Los Angeles. Law enforcement officials told the outlet that no signs of foul play were found.

Curry is also known for his roles as Pennywise in the screen adaptation of "It," the butler Wadsworth in "Charade," and other work in film, on television, and in the theater.
