Berset: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey in Europe's new geopolitical center of gravity

Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey have found themselves at the center of the ongoing geopolitical changes.

This was stated by Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset.

According to him, Europe's geopolitical center of gravity is shifting eastward along the 39th parallel north, which passes through four Council of Europe member states.

Berset noted that Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey are at the intersection of key processes, including the war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, as well as large-scale political and economic changes in Central Asia.

At the same time, according to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Europe does not yet fully realize the scale of the changes taking place in the region.
