Death toll from terrorist attack in northwestern Pakistan exceeds 30
At least 31 people, including 16 police officers, were killed in a terrorist attack near a mosque in the city of Kohat in northwestern Pakistan.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by Agence France-Presse (AFP) citing law enforcement agencies.
"So far, 31 people, including 16 police officers, have been killed and more than 100 wounded," the publication's source said.
It was reported earlier that a suicide bomber set off an explosion next to a mosque on the grounds of the Police Lines complex in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. During an exchange of fire, law enforcement officers eliminated six attackers.
