Prince Harry is preparing a documentary film about Princess Diana

Prince Harry is in talks about making a documentary film about his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales (1961–1997).

This was reported by The Daily Telegraph, citing a source close to the younger son of Britain's King Charles III.

According to the newspaper, Prince Harry intends in this way to honor the memory of his mother, 30 years since whose death will be marked next year.

"Nothing has yet been approved or confirmed, and he is still considering the most expressive way to honor her memory in this important anniversary year," the source told the newspaper.

As noted in the publication, the film may be acquired by the streaming service Netflix. According to The Daily Telegraph, Prince Harry has already discussed this topic with his mother's friends and her brother, Earl Charles Spencer.

The latter, according to the publication, refused to appear as a "talking head" in the television project and decided to write his own book. The biography titled "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister" officially goes on sale on September 22. At the same time, published excerpts from it have already caused displeasure at Buckingham Palace.

In the newspaper's assessment, the film's release could further complicate Prince Harry's relations with his elder brother, William, Prince of Wales, who does not publicly comment on his uncle's revelations.

The Daily Telegraph criticized Charles Spencer's biography, calling it "not a book about Diana, but a monument to ego," as well as a manifestation of the author's "self-absorption and pomposity."

The Times newspaper, for its part, noted that in Earl Spencer's memoirs "Diana's story turns into a Shakespearean blood feud."
