Houthis attack the world's largest oil field
The Houthis announced a ballistic missile attack on the Ghawar field in Saudi Arabia — the world's largest onshore oil field.
Ghawar is located in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and stretches approximately 280 km. Its proven reserves are estimated at more than 58 billion barrels of oil equivalent. Historically, production at the field exceeded 5 million barrels of oil per day.
