The outcomes of the ministerial meeting held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku will be presented at the interim assessment of the implementation of the New Urban Agenda at the UN General Assembly.
As 1news.az reports, this was stated in his speech by the Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, national coordinator of WUF13 Anar Guliyev.
According to him, today's meeting provides ministers with the opportunity to assess the progress achieved, share best practices, and determine priorities for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda for the period until 2036.
Anar Guliyev noted that the final summary of the chairmanship based on the results of the ministerial meeting will make an important contribution to the process of conducting the high-level interim review, which will take place in July this year at the General Assembly of the United Nations.
