Language exams for doctoral candidates: dates and passing scores announced
Registration of candidates applying for doctoral studies and applicants already studying in doctoral programs to take foreign language exams, as well as the Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners, will be carried out on the Center's website from June 11 to 14.

According to the exam schedule, the Azerbaijani language exam (all blocks) for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from among foreigners and stateless persons will take place on June 16.
The examination block for checking speaking skills (oral speech) for candidates applying to doctoral studies and applicants studying in it will be held from June 17 to 19. Assessment in this block is conducted orally using special computer software.
On June 25, exams will be held in the following blocks: listening (listening comprehension), reading (reading comprehension), language use (lexical-grammatical tasks), and writing.
Candidates who score the passing score (25 points) on the entrance exam in a foreign language, taking into account the minimum limit for each block (2 points), are admitted to the philosophy exam, and then to the specialized discipline. Candidates who score 30 or more points on the entrance exam are exempt from the foreign language exam for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, provided that they submit their dissertations for initial discussion within five years from the date of taking the specified exam.
