7-year-old child of famous musician dies tragically
A tragic incident occurred in Nakhchivan: a 7-year-old child drowned in a water canal.
As 1news.az reports citing AZERTAC, the incident took place in the village of Garakhanbeyli in the city of Nakhchivan.
According to preliminary data, Elmir Jahangir oglu Gurbanov, born in 2019, fell into a water canal while riding a bicycle in the village due to carelessness.
During search operations, the child was pulled from the water and taken to the Nakhchivan Republican Hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life.
Law enforcement officers were called to the scene. An investigation is underway.
As ANZ.az reports, the deceased Elmir Gurbanov was the son of renowned musician Jahangir Gurbanov, laureate of the Presidential Award, artistic director and chief conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic.
It is noted that Elmir, a first-grade student at Secondary School No. 5 in Nakhchivan, went missing the day before. The child was later found in the water canal.
