Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry offers condolences over the deaths of Kazakhstan's servicemen

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences over the tragic deaths of servicemen during military exercises of Kazakhstan's Naval Forces in the Caspian Sea.

"We express our most sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased servicemen, as well as to the fraternal people and government of Kazakhstan.

May Allah rest the souls of the deceased in peace and grant their families strength and patience in this difficult time.

We hope for the safe rescue of all those missing and wish a speedy recovery to the injured serviceman," says a post on the page of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry on the social network X.

Nineteen Kazakh servicemen were swept out to sea during exercises in the Caspian, nine people died.

It is noted that three servicemen were rescued, including one who was hospitalized.

A search is underway for the others.
