WUF13 in Baku breaks attendance records - photo report

Today in the capital of Azerbaijan, the first day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) officially started.

Recall that this large-scale international platform traditionally unites leading political figures, specialized experts, authoritative specialists, and journalists from around the world to discuss key challenges, trends, and prospects of global urban development.

The focus of participants' attention is on issues of sustainable development of megacities, the introduction of "smart" technologies into the urban environment, and the creation of comfortable living conditions for the population.

The current forum in Baku has already demonstrated unprecedented scale at the opening stage. The fact that more than 40 thousand delegates representing 182 countries of the world have registered to participate in the event is assessed by international experts as one of the highest attendance indicators in the entire history of the WUF.
