Tragedy in Sabirabad: cyclist fatally hit
In the Sabirabad district, a traffic accident with a fatal outcome occurred.
As reported by 1news.az citing Trend, the incident was recorded on June 3 around 17:00 on the section of the Sabirabad - Hajigabul highway passing through the territory of the village of Shykhsalakhly.
A VAZ-2107 car, driven by resident of the village of Shykhsalakhly Fattakhov Nurlan Gasym oglu, while moving in the direction of Hajigabul, hit a cyclist - his fellow villager Mamedli Huseyn Sarvan oglu, who was crossing the roadway from left to right.
As a result of the accident, Huseyn Mamedli died at the scene from his severe injuries.
Based on this fact, a criminal case has been opened in the investigative department of the district police department, and an investigation is underway.
