Access to medical institutions will become easier: five hospitals in Baku have special zones for taxis and personal cars
In Baku, corresponding road signs have been installed at six more addresses, ensuring comfortable boarding and alighting of passengers from taxis and personal vehicles.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
As part of the continuation of the project, on Sabit Orudjev Street (near the Republican Perinatal Center), as well as on Mehdi Mehdizade and Fazail Bayramov Streets (near the Mediland Hospital clinic), some parking spaces were eliminated. Instead, road signs 5.14 ("Taxi stand") and 3.28 ("No parking") were installed, which made it possible to organize zones for boarding and alighting passengers.
Similar signs were placed on Beyuk Shor Street (near the intersection with Heydar Aliyev Avenue), Hasan Salmani Street, and Babek Avenue, creating additional conveniences for citizens visiting the medical institutions Yeni Klinika, Leyla Medical Centre, and Baku Medical Plaza.
Recall that earlier, passenger boarding and alighting zones and conditions for taxi passenger drop-off were created in front of medical institutions located at seven addresses in the capital.
