Nursulton Ruziboev defeats Andrey Pulyaev early at UFC Fight Night in Baku

Today the international mixed martial arts tournament UFC Fight Night started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

As 1news.az correspondent reports, middleweight fighters — Russian Andrey Pulyaev and Uzbekistan's Nursulton Ruziboev — entered the octagon as part of the evening's preliminary card.

The outcome of the three-round bout came in the first minutes of the fight. Ruziboev managed to take his opponent to the octagon floor and take a dominant position from behind, after which he applied a tight chokehold. Pulyaev refused to tap and as a result lost consciousness, forcing the referee to stop the fight, recording an early victory for the fighter from Uzbekistan.
