Aliyar Aghayev has been appointed to a Europa League match

Azerbaijani FIFA football referee Aliyar Aghayev has received a new appointment from UEFA.

As İdman.Biz reports, he will be the head referee of the first match between Gibraltar's Lincoln and Cyprus' Omonia in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

Aghayev's assistants will be Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali, while Tural Gurbanov will serve as the fourth referee. Austrian Alan Kijas has been appointed VAR referee, and Nijat Ismayilli as his assistant.

The match will take place on August 6.
