Tanker attacked in the Strait of Hormuz: there are injured - PHOTO

Two people were injured as a result of the shelling of a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz.

This was reported by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) center of the British Navy.

"UKMTO received a report of an incident involving a vessel transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Military authorities informed UKMTO that a tanker entering the strait was struck by an unknown projectile. Two crew members sustained minor injuries," the coordination center said.

It added that the vessel is continuing to its next port of destination under its own power. Additional details, including the name of the vessel and its port of registry, were not provided.
