Single ticket for 4 Champions League matches: FC Sabah club explains new sales system
The Sabah football club has explained its decision to sell a single ticket for four home matches of the UEFA Champions League at once.
The club emphasized that the tickets are not sold out — their sale is being carried out in stages.
As the head of the club's press service, Elnur Hamidov, told Report, the new model is intended to create more convenient conditions for fans who wish to attend all of Sabah's home games and support the team in every match.
"Sabah's home games in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League generate great interest among fans. This was confirmed once again by the fact that the tickets offered in the first stage of sales were purchased within a short time," he said.
According to Hamidov, the main goal of selling a single ticket for four matches is to allow the team's supporters to secure seats at all home games in advance.
"The price of tickets providing access to four Champions League-level matches was also set with the interests of fans in mind," the club representative noted.
Hamidov particularly emphasized that tickets are still available.
"Sales are being conducted in stages so that as many fans as possible can purchase tickets and so that the potential load on the system is managed properly. The club highly appreciates the great interest of our fans and thanks them for their understanding," he stated.
The Sabah representative expressed hope that the stands will be full at all home matches of the Champions League and that the team will receive powerful support.
One ticket will make it possible to attend Sabah's games against Czech side Slavia, Borussia Dortmund, Spain's Barcelona, and Italy's Napoli.
Ticket prices range from 35 to 285 manats. Purchased tickets are not subject to return, exchange, or restoration.
They are available exclusively in the format of QR tickets. To enter the stadium, fans must log in to the iTicket mobile application with the account used for the purchase.
QR codes will be activated only on match days. All four games will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
