SOCAR to become sponsor of Italy's men's and women's national soccer teams
Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR will become the main global energy sponsor of Italy's men's and women's national soccer teams starting in 2027.
As 1news.az reports, the strategic cooperation agreement between SOCAR and the Italian Football Federation was signed in Baku as part of the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.
The contract is designed for four years — from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2030. The parties have provided for the possibility of extending the partnership for another two years, until 2032.
"The cooperation reflects SOCAR's interest in long-term work in Italy and the company's intention to contribute to the further development of Italian soccer, known for its traditions and achievements," SOCAR noted.
