Russia plans to increase tourist flow to Azerbaijan to one million people
Russia sets itself the goal of increasing the number of tourists heading to Azerbaijan to one million people.
As Report reports, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov announced this during his speech at the business panel "Investments in the Caspian Region."
The diplomat emphasized that it is necessary to build interaction in all areas of cooperation with maximum efficiency.
"The tourist flow has somewhat decreased due to the situation around neighboring Iran, but we are counting on its resumption. We hope that next year or the year after we will be able to reach the figure of one million Russian tourists in Azerbaijan. The Russian side is making all necessary efforts to ensure that the flow of tourists from the country steadily increases," stated M. Evdokimov.
