Tumor in the lung and threat to the heart: little Mirismail, who lost an eye due to sarcoma, needs urgent surgery
The editorial office of 1news.az was again contacted by Mirvaleh Agalarov - the father of little Mirismail, who has been fighting a severe oncological disease - eye sarcoma - since the age of two. This is a rare and aggressive malignant tumor of soft tissues, most often found in children.
According to the father, the child has been undergoing treatment in one of the clinics in Ankara for more than six years.
"Unfortunately, numerous courses of chemotherapy and the operations performed did not bring the desired result. The doctors had to remove my son's left eye," says Mirvaleh Agalarov.
As M. Agalarov noted, later a fungal infection was detected in the eye orbit remaining after the amputation: "Thanks to the help of caring people, the family managed to raise funds for the necessary operation, and the problem was eliminated."

However, the trials for the boy did not end there.
"Recently, doctors discovered a 5-millimeter tumor in Mirismail's lung," says the grief-stricken father.
In addition, the child has a venous port installed for long-term administration of medications. Now Mirismail is growing, and the system in his body is beginning to pose a threat to his health. According to the father, the boy urgently needs surgery to remove the port.
To perform the operation in Turkey, 5 thousand US dollars are required. In addition, the family spends 530 manats weekly on necessary medications.
"Believe me, our situation is very difficult. I am appealing to all responsive people who have the opportunity to help. Any support can become a chance for my son to continue the fight for life," says Mirvaleh Agalarov.
