Respect your signature - Araghchi commented on possible negotiations with the US
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that negotiations on the final deal with the US will not begin if Washington's threats continue.
"Millions of proud Iranians gathered to honor the great Ayatollah Khamenei and his legacy. Neither they nor our brave armed forces succumb to threats. Paragraph 13 of the memorandum of understanding clearly states: negotiations on the final deal will not begin if threats continue. Respect your signature," the minister wrote on his page on the social network X.
Iran and the US remotely signed a memorandum on the night of June 18, which involves ending the military conflict that began on February 28. The memorandum also sets deadlines for when the US will lift the naval blockade, and Iran will restore navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The key mediators are Pakistan and Qatar.
