Armenian wrestler thanks Azerbaijan
I want to thank Azerbaijan for organizing the World Championship at such a high level.
As Oxu.Az reports, this was said to journalists by Armenian wrestler Yanes Nazaryan, who won a gold medal in the 71 kg weight category at the U-17 World Championship held in Baku.
According to him, the tournament participants were welcomed at the highest level in the Azerbaijani capital.
"We are in a very good mood. The competition was organized at a high level, and the participants were also quite strong. I want to thank the organizers and everyone who took part in preparing the championship. My opponents were very strong. I cannot say that there were weak ones among them — on the contrary, everyone was excellently prepared. But I managed to perform better and achieve a good result," Nazaryan stated.
He noted that a warm welcome was extended in Baku both by the organizers and at the state level. "Everything was fine. We were received very well," the athlete added.
