António Costa: Azerbaijan - A Key Partner for the EU
Azerbaijan is a key partner for the European Union.
This was stated by the President of the European Council, António Costa, in a post on the social media platform X, accompanied by a photograph of the Palace of the Shirvanshahs in the center of Baku.
"Today in Baku, I look forward to meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev," he wrote.
In his post, Costa emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, noting that relations with the EU have gained new momentum over the past year.
"We are committed to further deepening cooperation in the areas of security, energy, digital technologies, and transport. We will also discuss the latest developments in light of the rapidly changing geopolitical situation," he added.
