Slovak President Peter Pellegrini Plans to Visit Azerbaijan
Slovak President Peter Pellegrini plans to visit Azerbaijan, and his office is currently discussing this matter with the Azerbaijani side.
This was stated to Report by the Slovak President's Assistant for Foreign Policy, Jan Kubiš.
"The visit is indeed planned, it is on the agenda, and negotiations are currently underway through diplomatic channels with our friends in Azerbaijan to prepare for this visit," Kubiš said.
Kubiš did not specify the occasion for Pellegrini’s visit but suggested that he might participate in the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku.
"I cannot provide precise information on this matter. However, I assume it is possible, as urban development is one of the most important topics for the international community and for my country," the president's assistant said.
