Ali Asadov meets with TRNC Prime Minister, bilateral relations discussed
Today, Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Ünal Üstel, the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
According to information provided to 1news.az by the Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting discussed the current state and development prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in various fields.
The intensity of high-level mutual visits and the development of cooperation through parliamentary and political party channels were positively evaluated.
The importance of expanding relations in the humanitarian sphere, particularly in the areas of culture and tourism, was emphasized.
The significance of cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States was highlighted, and the contributions of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to the organization’s activities in its observer status were noted.
The importance of the Meeting of Heads of Government/Vice-Presidents of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States held in Baku was also addressed.
The event’s significance was underscored in terms of strengthening intergovernmental coordination within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and advancing the common agenda more effectively in priority areas determined by the heads of state.
