Shopping mall evacuated in Bishkek after bomb threat call
A shopping mall was evacuated in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) after an unknown caller reported a planted bomb.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by Kyrgyz media citing the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It is reported that a call was received from an unknown person who demanded that 500,000 soms ($5,700) be transferred within 15 minutes. Otherwise, he threatened to set off an explosion in the mall building.
Police officers and canine handlers with service dogs are working at the scene, and the area has been cordoned off. The identity of the caller is being established.
