He held a gun to her head and threatened to inject poison: Oksana Samoylova talks about her life with Dzhigan - VIDEO

The story of Oksana Samoylova and Dzhigan took a new turn after details emerged of the shooting incident at the rapper's home.

According to Russian media, during his July breakdown Dzhigan was at home together with the children and the staff, and then opened fire. O. Samoylova was abroad at that moment and learned about what was happening from her eldest daughter. It should be noted that Dzhigan himself denies all the accusations. He stated that the publications about what happened do not correspond to reality, and that the video with the weapon was footage for a music snippet that "haters twisted around."

Now Oksana has for the first time spoken in detail about this and other episodes of the family's life in a long, candid interview with Ksenia Sobchak. In several parts of the conversation she revealed details of what happened and spoke about the years-long crises in her relationship with Dzhigan.

According to O. Samoylova, the starting point of the problems was not the July 2026 incident, but her husband's breakdown back in 2020 during a vacation in Miami, when she was pregnant with their son David. Dzhigan was going live in an inadequate state at the time, swore in front of the children and ultimately ended up in a rehabilitation clinic. "The most brutal shock was 2020. Before that everything was relatively normal. I had gotten used to it. I have been with him since I was 20, I don't know any other relationship. I have lived my entire conscious life with him. I never cheated, never looked at other men. I always existed within a single paradigm," she admitted in the interview with O. Samoylova.

O. Samoylova also explained why she did not break up with him immediately after that incident, even though her mother urged her to leave. "Our entire relationship with Denis was built on me doing everything so that everyone would feel great, and him taking advantage of what I do. Double standards - to say that family is the most important thing, and then immediately go and cheat. It's very easy to pull the wool over my eyes. If someone tells me for a week: 'No, that didn't happen,' by the end of the week I'll say: 'Well, probably yes.' I got used to existing that way," O. Samoylova said, adding that stability and the dream of a complete family outweighed the alarming warning signs.

Oksana Samoylova publicly confirmed for the first time that her husband had threatened her with physical violence, and that he did so more than once. According to her, during one of their conflicts he held a gun to her head, and on another occasion he said that he could "discreetly inject" poison into her in such a way that no one would even understand the cause of death. At the same time, according to her, after Dzhigan came to his senses, he would apologize, but categorically refused to get rid of the weapons he kept at home.

It was precisely these threats, and not only the scandal involving the shooting at the staff, that formed the basis of her decision to seek sole custody. "It's simply frightening. I'm cornered. If he comes back now, he will take the children away from me and pretend that this is how it should be. He pointed a gun at me and threatened me. All of this is death. It will be easier for him to kill me," Oksana Samoylova admits, directly confirming that such an incident with a weapon did indeed take place.

In addition to the July 2026 incident, O. Samoylova spoke about an episode from 2022 that was previously unknown to the public. According to her, her husband "in a second got the idea" that she was a traitor and had "done something," after which, in an altered state, he began walking around the entire house with a weapon and shooting at the walls and ceiling. After that incident, the family concealed what had happened even from those close to them: the bullet marks and damage in the house were covered up with plaster, and a milder version of events was made up for the children - that someone had allegedly tried to rob the house. Only the eldest daughter, Ariela, according to Samoylova, had to be told the truth about what had actually happened with her father.

Dzhigan and Oksana Samoylova's eldest daughter, Ariela, also told Ksenia Sobchak about an incident when her father, according to her, while under the influence of drugs, walked around the house with an assault rifle and fired in the direction of the security guards. Children, nannies and staff were in the house at that moment. According to Ariela, Dzhigan returned at around four in the morning and declared that the family was in danger. Later he walked with the assault rifle into the room where six-year-old David was putting together puzzles. "We told him that we had thieves in the house and that daddy was standing guard," the girl said.

O. Samoylova was abroad at the time. Her daughter sent her messages asking for help: "He will kill us. We have nowhere to hide. Mom, I love you very much." Ariela also recalled another episode when her father, according to her, pointed a rifle at O. Samoylova. The girl stated that she no longer wants to communicate with her father.

After the hostage incident in the summer of 2026, O. Samoylova returned to Moscow, increased security, hired a psychologist for the children and filed a lawsuit in court to restrict her ex-husband's parental rights and to have the children's place of residence assigned to her. She admits that the decision was hard to make, despite everything that had happened: "I will have to go to court again and ask for sole custody. I simply have no choice. I terribly don't want to do this. But I no longer have a choice… I don't know what I need to say. I actually need evidence, and I don't have it."
