Azerbaijan Facilitates Evacuation from Iran of Its Citizens, Foreign Nationals, and Diplomatic Mission Members
Through the 'Astara' border checkpoint, approximately ten citizens of China, four citizens of Poland, and four citizens of Qatar have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Currently, the evacuation of six employees of the United Arab Emirates embassy in Iran is ongoing.
It should be noted that from 08:00 on February 28 until 14:00 today, a total of 90 individuals have been evacuated through the 'Astara' checkpoint from Iran to Azerbaijan. This includes 53 citizens of Azerbaijan, 1 citizen of Italy, 5 citizens of Tajikistan, 3 citizens of Qatar, 4 citizens of Jordan, 18 citizens of Saudi Arabia, and 6 citizens of the United Arab Emirates.
