Pezeshkian Addresses Leaders of Neighboring States
President of Iran Masud Pezeshkian has addressed the leaders of neighboring countries.
His statement was published on the politician's page on X.
"Dear leaders of friendly and neighboring states, we have tried to prevent war with your support and through diplomatic efforts. Nevertheless, military aggression has left us with only one choice — to defend ourselves. We respect your sovereignty and continue to believe that peace in the region must be ensured by the countries of the region themselves," Pezeshkian noted.
