Ukrainian Embassy Condemns Iranian Drone Attacks on Nakhchivan
The Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan has condemned the attacks by Iranian drones on Nakhchivan.
As reported by APA with reference to the embassy, the diplomatic mission is closely monitoring information about the attack by Iranian UAVs on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ukrainian Embassy expressed its support and solidarity with Azerbaijan: "We call on everyone to unite to strengthen the fight against regimes that undermine global security, as well as the future of our peoples."
The statement also recalled that Iranian drones have long become a tool of terror, emphasizing that this very weapon is used by the Iranian regime to strike Ukrainian cities, civilian infrastructure, and peaceful populations.
The statement further cited the words of Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha: "The Iranian regime has been terrorizing the region for decades, supporting and financing terrorist groups that bring instability to other countries."
