Ilham Aliyev Expresses Gratitude to the President of Slovakia
President Ilham Aliyev thanked the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini, for the support provided to Azerbaijan following the attacks by Iranian drones on Nakhchivan.
As reported by 1news.az, a corresponding post was published on the head of state's account on the social network "X".
"I express my sincere gratitude to the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini, for his principled stance and solidarity following the recent drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against civilian infrastructure in Nakhchivan. The prompt support provided by Azerbaijan in the evacuation of the Slovak diplomatic corps from Tehran is a vivid demonstration of the high level of strategic relations between our countries, as well as an expression of our commitment to international cooperation," the post emphasizes.
