Telephone Conversation Held Between Jeyhun Bayramov and Seyid Abbas Araqchi
On March 7, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyid Abbas Araqchi. During the call, the regional situation and bilateral relations were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of completing investigations by the Iranian side, as promised, following drone attacks from Iranian territory targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In general, the necessity of not targeting civilian objects during the ongoing conflict was highlighted, as well as the importance of ending military escalation in the region in a short period and resolving existing challenges through negotiations.
The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
