Azerbaijan's Defense Minister expresses condolences to Turkey and Qatar

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has expressed his condolences to Turkey's Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Güler, as well as to Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the condolence message states:

"The news of the crash of a Qatar Armed Forces helicopter, which was conducting a training flight under the Qatar-Turkey Joint Command and fell into the sea due to a technical malfunction, as well as the loss of one serviceman from the Turkish Armed Forces, two technical staff members from ASELSAN, and four servicemen from the Qatar Armed Forces in the accident, has deeply saddened me.

I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, share their grief, and pray for the repose of the souls of those who perished."
