Armenia intends to sign agreement with US on TRIPP as soon as possible
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the preparation of the interstate agreement between the United States and Armenia on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project is in the final stage, and Yerevan wishes to sign it as soon as possible.
"Two processes are taking place in parallel: the terrain is being studied, repairs to some infrastructure, for example, railway stations, are no longer ruled out, and legal work is underway to finalize the interstate agreement. We want to sign it de jure as quickly as possible so that it enters into force.
I'm not joking, work is being done around TRIPP every day," he said during a briefing, according to Armenian media.
On August 8, 2025, following a trilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a joint declaration on a peaceful settlement between Baku and Yerevan and the creation of a transport communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. This project was named the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity.
