Putin: Russia-China relations reach unprecedentedly high level
Russian-Chinese relations have reached an unprecedentedly high level, serving as a model of partnership.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"Today our relations have reached an unprecedentedly high level, serving as a model of truly comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction," the Russian leader noted.
The president drew attention to the fact that the Russian delegation includes a large portion of the Russian government, business leaders, and representatives of public and educational organizations, and that this is no coincidence.
The head of state also recalled that 25 years ago the two countries signed the Treaty on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation. "A fundamental interstate document that serves as the basis for developing cooperation in all areas and fully retains its relevance," Putin added.
