Alen Simonyan plans meeting with Sahiba Gafarova in Istanbul

The Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, will hold a series of meetings with colleagues in Istanbul, including the heads of the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Georgia. An informal conversation with the Chairperson of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, is also not ruled out.

Simonyan informed journalists about this, specifying that the meetings are scheduled on the sidelines of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which will take place in Istanbul from April 15 to 19.

"At the moment, meetings with two colleagues — the heads of the parliaments of Georgia and Azerbaijan — are planned," he noted.
