Pashinyan: Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue delimitation soon
In the near future, Armenia and Azerbaijan will continue the delimitation process, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at an event marking the establishment of the Border Troops of the National Security Service.
He recalled that Armenia and Azerbaijan have conducted delimitation of a 12-kilometer section, where Armenian border troops are currently serving.
"In the coming period, we will, of course, continue and complete (the delimitation, ed.) within reasonable timeframes," Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan added that strong fortifications and defensive structures on the border will, at some point, be handed over to the border troops. However, this will happen under conditions of full peace with Azerbaijan, toward which Armenia is moving with increasing confidence every day.
