Azerbaijan and Maldives introduce mutual visa-free regime
Azerbaijan and the Maldives have introduced a mutual visa-free regime for short-term visits starting today.

"Citizens of the Maldives can now visit Azerbaijan without a visa and stay in its territory for up to 90 days," the Maldives Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on social media.
It should be noted that the agreement between the government of Azerbaijan and the government of the Maldives Republic on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of ordinary passports was signed on September 24, 2025, in New York.
