Israeli military recorded a new wave of missiles from Iran, the army press service reported.
Air raid sirens due to missile danger were announced in many areas in the center and south of the country. Sirens sounded including in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beersheba, Jerusalem, southern suburbs of Tel Aviv, including the area of Ben Gurion Airport, according to data from the alert system.
In Tel Aviv itself there was no alarm, but several explosions were heard, probably from the consequences of interceptions of missiles in the sky over the center of the country, the TASS correspondent confirmed.
Earlier at night, the Israeli Air Force struck Iran. The army press service stated that their targets were military facilities in the west and center of the Islamic Republic.
On the evening of June 7, Iran fired missiles at the northern regions of the Jewish state. The Israeli army stated that all missiles were intercepted. This happened after Israel earlier struck a Hezbollah facility in the suburbs of Beirut. According to the Israeli side, this attack was in response to shelling of the northern regions of the Jewish state by Hezbollah. Iranian authorities had previously warned that they would respond to Israel in case of strikes on the Lebanese capital.
