Confident in re-election: Pashinyan plans to meet Putin again in the second half of June
I have not had any behind-the-scenes meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin; it was a working lunch.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a briefing after a government meeting, commenting on the critical assessments made following his recent visit to Moscow.
"We, as always, had lunch and communicated in a friendly atmosphere. And, as I have already said, I assess this visit very positively. Everyone else is free to make their own assessments," Pashinyan added.
According to him, they have already agreed on further meetings and events. "We have scheduled a high-level meeting for the second half of June (parliamentary elections will take place on June 7 – ed.). As for the general content, I think that what I said is, in fact, a reflection of my previous public statements, but now in this hall. So, I did not say anything new during the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation," Nikol Pashinyan noted.
In his assessment, the relations between Armenia and Russia are currently in a stage of "constructive transformation." The head of government evaluated this process positively.
