Qatar and partners working to resume U.S.-Iran talks — Foreign Ministry

Qatar, together with regional partners and China, is making efforts to resume negotiations between Iran and the United States.

This was stated by the head of the media department of Qatar's Foreign Ministry, Ibrahim al-Hashemi.

"We are working together with regional and global partners, including China, to resume dialogue in order to put an end to the crisis and stop the escalation in the region," al-Hashemi said.

According to him, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is of the greatest importance for all parties in the region.
