Son of Lukoil founder tops ranking of richest heirs
Yusuf Alekperov, son of Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov, topped the Forbes ranking of the richest heirs of Russian billionaires, with his inheritance amounting to $29.5 billion.
The list was published on the publication's website.
Second place is occupied by the two children of the main owner of the Novatek and Sibur companies, Leonid Mikhelson ($14.15 billion each). Third place in the ranking was taken by the daughter and son of Eurochem founder Andrey Melnichenko ($10.2 billion each).
The top ten richest heirs included the children of Suleiman Kerimov, heirs of NLMK steel company owner Vladimir Lisin, children of co-owner of the Novatek and Sibur companies Gennady Timchenko, as well as children of the founder of Phosagro and others.
