Head of DCO announces visit to Azerbaijan
Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah Al Yahya has announced her upcoming visit to Azerbaijan.
She reported this on the social network X following a meeting with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mutallim Mirzoyev.
"A warm meeting in Riyadh, and an exciting trip to Azerbaijan coming up very soon. Glad to meet again with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mutallim Mirzoyev ahead of my upcoming visit," she noted.
Deemah Al Yahya also emphasized that, according to the Digital Economy Navigator, Azerbaijan's digital development is showing strong indicators. In particular, the level of adoption of digital technologies for social inclusion stands at 83.4%.
"I look forward to seeing this progress in person and to continuing to develop our cooperation as Azerbaijan moves closer to joining the DCO community," she noted.
The DCO was founded in November 2020 as a global multilateral organization aimed at accelerating the inclusive growth of the digital economy and ensuring digital well-being for all.
On September 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Transport and Digital Development announced the country's accession to the DCO.
