Erdogan holds phone call with Ilham Aliyev

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

During the phone call, President Erdogan expressed words of support to Ilham Aliyev in connection with Remembrance Day and honored the memory of the martyrs who died for the liberation of Azerbaijan's territories from occupation.

On September 27, Azerbaijan marked Remembrance Day — the day on which the Patriotic War began.
