Went to her children with gifts and was killed by her father-in-law: family of the deceased revealed details of the tragedy
The murder of 31-year-old Gyulyuzar Mamedova by her father-in-law Adygozal Mamedov, committed on June 1 in the capital's settlement of Ramana, caused a wide public outcry.
As 1news.az reports, family members of the deceased shared details of the tragedy.
Gyulyuzar Mamedova's father, Tapdyg Shukyurov, told "Dialoq TV" that shortly before the incident, his daughter returned from Baku to them - to the settlement of Duzdag in Yevlakh district.
According to him, Gyulyuzar quarreled with her mother-in-law, after which she was kicked out of the house: "She arrived and lived with us for three days. At that time we found a lawyer. He said: 'You are in Yevlakh, and I am in Baku. Come and rent an apartment in Baku so we can handle the case.' The daughter left for Baku. Two days later she went to her mother-in-law to see the children. The child called her and asked: 'June 1 is Children's Day, aren't you coming?' The daughter bought gifts and went to her mother-in-law's house.
My daughter has a friend who lives in the same building. She called my daughter and asked: 'Your father-in-law is standing around the corner of the house, what's going on, are you coming here?' At the same time, my daughter called us, saying that she was going to see the children and would call as soon as she left. The mother-in-law told her not to come before two o'clock in the afternoon, citing that they would not be home. My daughter's father-in-law lived separately from his wife in Mardakan. Most likely, they planned everything in advance so that he would have time to arrive. When Gyulyuzar entered the elevator, he attacked her and killed her. Neighbors heard my daughter's screams. All this was set up.
After the murder, he took bank cards from her wallet. When the daughter was kicked out of the house, these cards were taken from her. Upon arriving in Yevlakh, Gyulyuzar blocked them. Since we could not reach her by phone, the mother called my son, who lives in Baku, and said that the sister had gone to visit the children and disappeared. After that, police officers were already answering calls to the daughter's phone."
