New details are emerging in Turkey in the investigation into Alihan Kuriş, the leader of the Süleymancılar religious movement, who was arrested on charges of leading a criminal organization, money laundering, and fraud.

According to Turkish media, the investigation has uncovered large-scale financial operations of the criminal organization led by Kuriş. During searches at 123 addresses in 17 provinces, 200 kg of gold bars worth about 1.34 billion lira, weapons, and large sums of cash in foreign currency were found, among other things.

Investigators are paying particular attention to the organization's alleged internal communication system. Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi stated that its leadership used the closed application Glooper, access to which was carried out through a three-stage authentication system.

According to Turkish authorities, the organization was also preparing a large-scale expansion of its activities abroad. In the German city of Cologne, it is claimed, a central facility worth 70 million euros is being built, to which part of the structure's activities was planned to be transferred.

The investigation is also examining financial transactions totaling more than 100 billion lira, which were allegedly transferred abroad through individuals and companies linked to the organization.

In total, 32 people have been arrested in the case, and another 6, including Ahmet Gökcen, a former member of Turkey's Council of Judges and Prosecutors, have been placed under house arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
