CSTO members consider Armenia an ally in the organization — secretary general
The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) consider Armenia an ally in the organization.
CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov told the RIA Novosti agency about this.
"From the very beginning, Armenia has been an active and harmonious member state, making a worthy contribution to strengthening the collective potential, and the CSTO member states still regard this country as an ally in the organization," he noted.
He emphasized that the leaders of the member states have repeatedly declared their readiness to conduct a dialogue with Yerevan on all issues related to the resumption of Armenia's full participation in joint work.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that the question of stripping Armenia of its voting rights in the CSTO could be considered at the November 11 summit.
